The Variolytics Gateway is the central communication interface within the EmiCoLite system and modern wastewater treatment plant infrastructures. It connects precise measurement technology in wastewater treatment with the existing control system and the Azure cloud platform. This creates a robust, secure and scalable bridge between local process control and cloud-based data analysis.
The gateway ensures that relevant emission and process data is available in real time where it is needed: on site in the control center and in parallel in the cloud for advanced analysis and optimization. This makes the biological stage more efficient by correlating nitrous oxide emissions with process parameters.
Flexibly expandable - support for analog interfaces
The Variolytics Gateway is designed as a central communication solution and can be flexibly expanded. In addition to standard integration via modern protocols such as Modbus, analog interfaces (e.g. 4-20 mA, 0-10 V) can also be integrated. These signals are converted into digital data in the gateway and are thus available for the control system and cloud applications.
